Most people would say they are oxymorons and they would be right. In fact most people call Greg a Poxy Moron for even trying to be both. There seems to be no logic or reason as to why he wants to make a room full of complete stranger’s laugh, until a heckle from another comedian at a gig prompts that very question, “Why is he doing stand up?” But, like everything in life there are causes and effects. The effects of doing stand-up are obvious; the nerves, the dry mouth, the shaking, the self criticism and the addiction to do it again and again. But what are the causes?
