Mondo from fair city

Speaking about his episode Mondo from fair city said “In my episode I play a Garda who is faced with a difficult situation involving a childs head stuck in a fence, I have to resolve it despite numerous conflicts spanning the course of a half hour. It’s the first high drama I’ve done since I left Fair City and I can’t wait to see it. I can’t wait to be known as The Garda from Rescue Drama….I hate Fair City”

Twink

Twink

In her episode Twink plays a Brain Surgeon who is scheduled to retire but on her last day has to perform Brain Surgery on the President of America live on television. “It’s going to be very dramatic” said Twink. “I think they gave me one of the most dramatic roles because of my past experience in theatre.” Twinks theatre experience is extensive and includes “Menopause the musical” and “Dirty Dusting” where she plays a pensioner who works on a phone sex line.

In her first television role since being kicked off Xpose Lorraine Keane will play an alcoholic coastguard helicopter pilot whos role in the rescue of a stranded hill walker is complicated by her alcoholism. Speaking about her role Keane said that “I think it was a great role for me to play. I loved the cute little outfit I had to wear to be the pilot, jumpsuits are SO in this season. When the people at TV3 see this they are going to flip out and beg me to come back….back to that gang of vacant bitches and rule them like the Queen they need”

Rescue Drama will air after the news this Sunday. It runs for six weeks and it is hoped in RTE that it will be so popular that people won’t mind a raise in the license fee. According to the director of RTE “it’s either a hike in the fee or a long winter of Gelnroe re-runs.”
