100% of unemployed would be better off if Govt was working

A massive one hundred per cent of unemployed people would be better off if the Government was working, according to a Mire survey.

Armed with the findings, the unemployed are now considering launching a letter campaign to get the government back to work.

Remarkably, the survey also found that getting the government working would benefit more than just the unemployed.

• People would be healthier if the Health Minister was working.
• People would be wealthier if the Finance Minister was working.
• People would be socially protected if the Social Protection Minister was working.
• More people might even be literate if the Education Minister was working.*

*It is not clear that Ireland would have qualified for Brazil if the Sports Minister was working.
