Knowing You, Knowing Me – Tinman Dave October 11, 2013 Blogs, Knowing You Knowing Me, Worth Doing Badly It is Friday, and we are happily ending the week with yet again another new blogger joining the Comedy Ireland gang. Today we would like you to meet ‘Tinman’. We ask some questions about his blog and we hope you check out his blogs next week and give him a warm welcome! 1. Who are you? I use the name Tinman, because I had to get a pacemaker after I kept blacking out and hitting my head off things. 2. What is the name of your Blog? Worth Doing Badly (from the Chesterton phrase “anything worth doing is worth doing badly”.) 3. You done well in this years Blog Awards how did that make you feel? I was really pleased, because my blog is quite simple with no lovely layout and very few pictures, so to have made the Shortlist means that the judges must have found it funny, which is its whole point. 4. Have you blogged for long? For five-and-a-half-years. 5. How would you describe your blog? It’s mainly stories, hopefully humourous ones, about slightly daft ideas, such as what happened after Romeo and Juliet didn’t actually die, or how Batman chose Robin’s name for him. 6. What does the future hold for your blog? Hopefully much the same thing, I really enjoy writing comedy and I intend to keep it up for as long as I can think of ideas (I’m hoping I can think of one soon, I haven’t written anything for four days). 7. Is there anyone you would love to meet to interview or do a blog about and if so why? Terry Pratchett, because I think he’s a great writer, and Eddie Izzard because he’s a comedian with such original ideas. 8. Are you on Twitter? Nope, but I think it’s time I started. 9. Are you on Facebook? Nope, but again I’m thinking about it. I always reckoned I’d have nothing to say but I’d like to give it a go. 10. What is your Blog address? www.tinman18.wordpress.com 11. Do you have a question for us? No, but I’d like to say that I’m really delighted to be asked to join you. Many thanks Tinman and we appreciate the kind words about joining the gang Tweet Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
