"The Dean Scurry makey uppy sing song show" Jan 31st 1st show
Today I am chattin’ with Dean Scurry,and he is going to be bringing his show to The Twisted Pepper from Jan 31st and here are a few questions I have for him!
[Dave]You will be doing a show in the Twisted Pepper, what will it involve?
[Dean Scurry] It will involve me and some music friends having a laugh making up songs with the audience. There will be a live band and loads of fun and frolicks.
[Dave]The name of your show is, "The Dean Scurry makey uppy sing song show", why did you go with that name?
[DS]Because its my show and its about making up songs and then singing them. Genius.
[Dave]How did you come up with the idea of the show?
[DS]Its came to me in a dream, I sleep a lot and my best ideas come when im in bed chillin. Also I love music, writing songs, having a laugh and doing what the hell I want to do.
[Dave]Is there anything that inspired you to do the show?
[DS]Making up funny songs with some mates and the audience can only be fun and its very different from other kinds of comedy I do. I love to try out mad ideas and see where they end up.
[Dave]How often will the show be happening?
[DS]A least once a month but more if im having fun and the audience are into it. I’d do it every day if they paid me.
[Dave]If a member of the audience makes you a lovely present will they be made an example of?
[DS]Presents are not necessary in my show. If it adds to theshow I love to involve the audience in any of the fun that’s going on.
[Dave]Have you got a question for me?
[DS]Would you like to be in my show and write a funny song with me.
[Dave]Of course, as long as I can play my harmonica’s Im up for it!
